Clubs Confirmed For Next Season

The twelve teams to make up the 2024/25 incarnation of Regional 2 Thames have been confirmed, with two new and two returning clubs joining the division.

Remaining from the 2023/24 season are Aylesbury, who finished in tenth position after narrowly avoiding relegation, along with Belsize Park (who finished second to Amersham & Chiltern, losing out on promotion by just two league points), Grasshoppers, H.A.C, Hemel Hempstead, Marlow, OPRFC and Old Haberdashers'.

Joining the league will be Beaconsfield, London Irish Wild Geese, London Scottish Lions and Teddington ; we detail their route into Regional 2 Thames below :

Beaconsfield - promoted as champions of Counties Tribute 1 Southern North. They won every game on their way to the title, with a record of played 22, won 22, racking up over 1,000 points in the process.

London Irish Wild Geese - level transfer from Regional 2 South Central. Wild Geese finished fifth in 2023/24 and return to Regional 2 Thames after one season away at the same level.

London Scottish Lions - promoted as champions of Counties 1 Herts/Middx. Scottish finished top of a fiercely competitive league at Level 7, securing the title with a game to spare. This will be the highest level the Lions have played at.

Teddington - promoted as champions of Counties 1 Surrey/Sussex. They lost just one game all season and were another side to score over 1,000 points.
