OPRFC Vets will play Hendon Vets in the Middlesex Vets Cup Final, with the fixture due to be played on Friday 7th June, a 7.45pm kick off under lights at Wasps FC.

This follows a win in the semi-final for OPs against Old Streetonians, running out 29-14 winners with winger Rasheed Alawiye scoring four tries on the 19th April ; Hendon beat Wasps 22-20 in mid March to secure themselves a place in the final.

The sides have met once before in this competition, Old Priorians winning 40-10 in the Preliminary Round in February 2023. There have also been four meetings at 1st XV level, both with two wins each, the most recent fixture in January 2021, the Twisters victors by 43 points to 0 (Herts/Middlesex 1).

OPs will be looking to defend their Vets Cup title, having won the competition last season with a 62-21 win against Hampstead in June 2023.

This will be the last game of the season for the club as a whole, with the fixture being played at a reduced time of 30 minutes per half.
